Setting up Syria and Iran

Nobody gave a shit about either Iran or Syria much in the past so why these last few years the big push to go to war with these countries? Is it because Iran may develop atomic weapons? Or for humanitarian reasons in Syria? Hardly humanitarian nobody gave a crap the last 40 years or so.

Now Iran developing nuclear fissionable materials could be cause for concern to many of its neighbours but despite western media "opinion", Iran is a stable country. Its alot more stable then say countries like Pakistan where the powers that be had no problem with that backwater having nukes.... does nobody ever to stop to ask why that is? Its called an AGENDA. It fits a plan. For instance Pakistan having nukes keeps India honest and in control and oddly enough keeps things quid pro quo in that area.

Iran having nuclear capability does not fit the U.S./Israeli agenda and plans for the middle east region as seen below:

So the great media machine is doing what it can in the west to ratchet up the rhetoric to get any kind of military action in either Iran or Syria or both would be great for bankers and their NWO ilk.

Adel al-Jubeir assassination plot- date- we knew this one was a turkey right off the bat, and thankfully so did the American public. And to think President Obama was all hot and ready to address Congress over it and get the war rolling. Nobody bought into it though.

American backpackers "kidnapped by Iran" - what kind of a fucking twit goes backpacking in a warzone (ie northern kurdistan/iran)? you idiots had it coming. its like people who hop trains and then wonder why one of them falls and gets their legs cut off. utter stupidity. but again the rest of us must have thought so as well no war.

They stole our stealth drone!- granted it was flying over their territory, how dare they take away our toys! Even if we were spying on them.

Economic Embargo's - they arent working and just short change the regular people and China and India wont stop buying Iranian gas and oil just because the U.S. says so.

And of course the oil prices go up due to all of these actions and threats. They only people winning on this one is the international bankers and oil companies.

Even better, blaming Iran for 9-11! Nobody bought this one either.

The Syrian regime is to be toppled. The big problem with so the Arab Rising is that they are getting in "Arabist" or "Islamist" leaning parties, you know representative of the people there and not the puppets on a string the western elites want in. Well folks just keep an eye out on this situation and take any so called news from there with a very healthy dose of salt, realize that there are some pretty big movers and shakers that want nothing short of a big war in that area to increase their profits and control! - eVs

As observers of the human drama unfolding within our lifetime, we can only hope the complete Nazification of the world will not reach a threshold which will require a violent reaction such as illustrated in the movie 'The Patriot'. The greatest weapon our mutual adversaries possess is their ability to deceive the majority their evisceration of individual sovereignty policies are necessary for state security. Fortunately, this course of action will self-destruct as more and more people become aware of who their real enemies are.

It is important to become cognizant of the fact that these miscreants of humanity have always been with us in positions of wealth and power for generations. They are carrying out a blueprint for a fascist one world government that has been centuries in the making. They are unified in a common bond of spirituality, historical tradition and even advanced scientific cosmological knowledge. They are incrementally and systematically executing a comprehensive military, political and financial agenda which is in the final stages of completion.

The greatest mistake we can make is to think this level of corruption is a consummation of non-conspiratorial random events.

Now our lawmakers has graduated to being able to define “anyone” as a “non-person”, and hence arbitrarily “disposable”.
These law applies to everyone – made subject to the arbitrary, discretionary, dictatorial powers usurped by absolute totalitarian “inhuman” criminals.
It is urgent that we recognize “criminality” when it stares us in the face - and meet it with Discernment and “Response-ability”. It appears that some “biological entities” are truly “non-human” - and we have permitted them to “govern”. While I have always been against “capital punishment”, maybe even that has to be rethought when dealing with this degree of “banality of evil”.

For those readers who are part of the 40% of human beings who think Ignorance is Bliss, stop reading now. This article is about a truth so hard that it was actually depressing to write it. You might think that working on SOTT for many years, most of us are pretty tough and can deal with the hard stuff. But sometimes, you see something that rings a bell, and you know that you've had a glimpse behind the curtain, because somebody went before and left a map to show you the way. In this case, that person was Hannah Arendt.
The modern world can't be an easy place to live in for those who are born genetically predisposed to crave absolute power over others. I mean, these days, any would-be totalitarian has only a very small chance of being born into one of the world's few remaining overt dictatorships, and a much greater chance of being born into a large Western nation that is nominally democratic. While fulfillment of the megalomaniac's innate drive is a walk in the park in a dictatorship, it requires all sorts of protracted subterfuge in a democracy. Bummer.
The main problem with giving free reign to one's dictatorial leanings in a democracy is the whole 'citizen's rights' and 'Rights of Man' thing. How is any self-aggrandizing despot to lord it over the masses, and watch them squirm and suffer and beg, when everyone seems convinced that there are not only democratic and legal rights but also natural 'inalienable' rights that come with just being a human being? Ideas that everyone is 'created equal' and has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness etc. can cause a lot of problems for the average authoritarian. Naturally then, in any democracy, all those rights would have to be removed before any oligarchy could transform citizens into subjects, and they'd have to be removed under the cloak of 'protecting' the very rights that were slated for extinction. A tall order indeed, but there are ways to do it. One tried and tested way is to create a foreign or external threat from which the people of a democracy must be protected. All sorts of draconian laws that subvert civil rights can be passed to combat this 'threat', and if the 'threat' can then be made internal or domestic, and suspicion of 'siding with enemy' cast over the citizens, you're well on your way to banishing those pesky legal and natural rights.
Strangely enough, that seems to be what has been happening in Western democracies over the past 10 years. Take the USA for example. That there is a power-hungry elite in control of the USA should, by now, be obvious to anyone with a few firing neurons. George 'Dubya' Bush made no secret of his desire to be dictator, and over the past few years Obama has made several references to wanting to "bypass congress" and just "change the laws on my own". As for Congress and the Senate, their endorsement of legislation like the USA PATRIOT Act and the recent 'Indefinite Detention bill' within the NDAA, make it obvious that they are only too happy to go along with the transformation of America into a fully-fledged police state at home, and an ever-expanding empire abroad. And needless to say, America's biggest multinational corporations (most of which are ~~war profiteers~~ 'military contractors') are reaping huge profits from providing the infrastructure necessary for just such a police state. That the Indefinite Detention bill is a savage attack on the few remaining civil rights in the USA is made obvious when we realise that even the New York Times, in an editorial on December 16th 2011, dared to spell it out when they said that the bill contains "terrible new measures that will make indefinite detention and military trials a permanent part of American law." On the other hand, they could just be sayin' stuff like that to convince people that the laws can't be changed back once the step is taken to remove human rights.
9/11 attacks: a self-inflicted wound
The 9-11 attacks were obviously the self-inflicted wound that created America's external enemy, and very quickly thereafter, the threat of home-grown 'domestic terrorism' reared its ugly head when large numbers of people didn't buy the Bush Administration's conspiracy theory about 19 Arab terrorists. The USA PATRIOT Act, rushed into law on Oct. 26th 2001, began the rights-stripping process with the removal of the right to privacy, and gave the FBI, CIA and police forces free access to search telephone and e-mail communications, medical, financial, and any and all other personal records. Any US citizen could also be placed under surveillance as a possible 'terrorist' and, if necessary, indefinitely detained without charge. That the 'USA PATRIOT Act' was passed on a wave of obnoxious patriotism rather than sober deliberation becomes clear when we realise that the act's authors went to ridiculous lengths to make sure that the name of the act spelled out 'USA Patriot'. The name is a ten-letter acronym that stands for 'Uniting (and) Strengthening America (by) Providing Appropriate Tools Required (to) Intercept (and) Obstruct Terrorism'. 'Appropriate tools required'? Surely tools that are required are by definition appropriate? And how do you 'intercept terrorism'? And is merely 'obstructing terrorism' really enough? Aren't we meant to be defeating it, or at least smoking it out of its cave and rat and spider holes, disheveled beard and all?
In 2003, the US Dept. of Justice drew up the 'Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003' aka 'Patriot Act 2'. While it is assumed by many that the 'Patriot Act 2' was never introduced to Congress because the measures it proposed (such as requiring detainees to prove they were innocent rather than the US government providing any evidence that they were guilty) were unashamedly dictatorial, it seems the real reason was that it was just a little premature. Consider, for example, that one of the most offensive aspects of the proposed 'Patriot Act 2' was that, if the US government decided that a US citizen was either a member of, or providing material support to, 'terrorist groups', it could then revoke their citizenship and deport them to a foreign country without due process. Civil liberties and human rights groups were understandably outraged at that particular provision, understood it as the work of a few over-zealous 'right-wing' nut jobs in the Dept. of Justice, and were relieved when the 'Patriot Act 2' was scrapped.
Joe Lieberman -the banality of evil
Civil libertarian relief appears to have been somewhat naive however, because Congress is currently considering HR 3166 and S. 1698, also known as the 'Enemy Expatriation Act', a bill sponsored by 'Mr. Kill Switch' and 'Defender of Israel', Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Charles Dent (R-PA), which, if passed, will give the US government the power to strip Americans of their citizenship for "engaging in, or purposefully and materially supporting, hostilities against the United States." Take note, you don't have to be convicted of 'terrorism'; you simply have to be accused of 'hostilities against the United States', like camping out or protesting with the OWS gang, for one example, or possibly even writing articles such as this one. This bill seems to be an effort to side-step the clamored-for change to the language of the 'Indefinite Detention bill' within the NDAA that seems to have, more or less, excluded American citizens from indefinite detention without trial. Liberman - or whoever is pulling his puppet strings - probably thought long and hard about this problem and decided that the best way to re-include American citizens in the 'Indefinite Detention bill' was to provide for the removal of their citizenship! Genius!
But the really interesting thing about all of this (let's face it, that the USA is well on the road to being a police state is, by now, more banal than interesting) is that this policy of disenfranchising citizens as a way to better control and persecute them isn't new in Western democracies.
Leaving aside the internment (and effective revocation of citizenship) of Japanese Americans during the Second World War, the first case in modern history of the creation of masses of stateless and rightless people occurred in the aftermath of the first World War and in the run up to the second World War when the borders of European countries were redrawn and entire new 'states' came into existence. This resulted in large numbers of ethnic minority refugees that were no longer citizens of any country because their country had ceased to exist. As a result, the laws and rights of whichever country they ended up in did not apply to them. In her book, The Origins of Totalitarianism, Hannah Arendt states that these individuals were seen as the "scum of the earth" by European governments and citizens alike.
"Every attempt by international conferences to establish some legal status for stateless people failed because no agreement could possibly replace territory to which an alien must be deportable. All discussions about the refugee problem revolved around this one question: How can the refugee be made deportable again? The second World War and the 'Displaced Persons' camps were not necessary to show that the only practical substitute for a nonexistent homeland was an internment camp."
The important point here is that history shows that by revoking a citizen's legal rights, including his or her citizenship, a government can simultaneously destroy any practical recourse a disenfranchised citizen might have to those 'natural' and 'inalienable' human rights that we all hear so much about. Because once a person is rendered stateless in this way, there is no state on earth that can provide those rights, and no utopian country where inalienable human rights are the law of the land. That may, of course, be a logical consequence of allowing individuals who may not technically be human to rule over us. No one born in the era of the strictly organised and controlled nation state was really 'born free' it seems, and the fundamental 'right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' only exists as letters on a 'goddamned piece of paper'. Got that?
The Nazis learned this lesson well and realised that the most important step in 'justifying' mass murder was to first deprive those targeted for liquidation of all legal status. As Arendt notes: "a condition of complete rightlessness was created before the right to life was challenged.". One of Hitler's most appealing statements (to the German people at least) was that "Right is what is good for the German people". The Nazis' insistence that protecting the interests of German lifestyle, values, families and people was the 'greatest good', allowed them to change laws in order to disenfranchise, expel, and ultimately murder large numbers of people who were as German as any Nazi party member. (It is interesting that Lieberman, a Jew, would sponsor a bill that seeks to replicate conditions that made the extermination of his forebears possible.)
Arendt notes:
"If a human being loses his political or legal status, he should, according to the inalienable rights of man, be protected by the declaration of those general rights. Actually, the opposite is the case. It seems that a man who is nothing but a man has lost the very qualities which make it possible for other people to treat him as a fellow-man. This is one of the reasons why it is far more difficult to destroy the legal personality of a criminal than of a man who has been disallowed all common human rights."

On the other side of the Atlantic, that other supposed bastion of liberty and equal rights, France, appears to be following a similar course as the USA under the stewardship of the repugnant Nicolas Sarkozy. Of course, like Obama, Sarkozy is but the low-level, public face of a monolithic and ruthless cabal of conspirators (to borrow a phrase from JFK) that are directing the course of human evolution (or devolution) from behind the scenes. In an effort to prop up the illusion that France has an 'immigration problem' and to appeal to the more authoritarian-minded French citizens, the French government recently 'tightened' its requirements for anyone seeking French citizenship. Applicants will now be required to speak French as well as the average francophone 15-year-old and swear allegiance to "French values". Failure to achieve the language level, and infringement of the ambiguous requirement to adhere to 'French values', can lead to French citizenship being denied or revoked. Under the right circumstances (which could easily be provided by the never-ending 'war on terror') this new 'tighter' policy, directed at existing French citizens as much as new applicants, may generate thousands, or millions, of stateless former French citizens living precariously in France.
The USA, being relatively isolated (geographically-speaking) compared to France, hasn't had much experience with the results of such policies towards immigrants. The same can't be said for France however, and as Arendt points out, history shows that the extent to which a government curtails the 'fundamental' rights provided by citizenship, is an indicator of a country's progress towards becoming a police state:
The nation-state, incapable of providing a law for those who had lost the protection of a national government, transferred the whole matter to the police. This was the first time the police in Western Europe had received authority to act on its own, to rule directly over people; in one sphere of public life it was no longer an instrument to carry out and enforce the law, but had become a ruling authority independent of government and ministries.
In France, for instance, it was a matter of record that an order of expulsion emanating from the police was much more serious than one which was issued "only" by the Ministry of Interior and that the Minister of Interior could only in rare cases cancel a police expulsion, while the opposite procedure was often merely a question of bribery. Constitutionally, the police is under the authority of the Ministry of Interior.
The strength [of the police] and its emancipation from law and government grew in direct proportion to the influx of refugees. The greater the ratio of stateless and potentially stateless to the population at large - in prewar France it had reached 10 per cent of the total - the greater the danger of a gradual transformation into a police state.
Perhaps now we can make more sense of why, against all true logic and reason, the US political elite are passing laws that will allow them to not only detain any US citizen indefinitely without trial, but to remove their status as citizens altogether. The ultimate goal of our political elite may well be mass murder of those citizens who continue to miss the point that the 9/11 attacks and the 'war on terrorism' were all a ruse to usher in an overt dictatorship in the USA, and we're not meant to talk about it, much less take to the streets to protest the corrupt political and corporate elite. What we're meant to be doing is precisely what most of the German people under Nazi rule did - be spellbound by the rhetoric and talk of 'freedom and democracy' and get with the USA PATRIOTISM program. On the upside, most people are doing just that. For those of you who aren't, now might be a good time to look up your family history to see if citizenship of a second country is an option.
Hannah Arendt lived through the last great purge of humanity by the psychopathic elite. She came face to face with what she called the "banality of evil" and tried to warn future generations against complacency in the face of it. It seems appropriate, therefore, to leave the last words to her:
"Deadly danger to any civilization is no longer likely to come from without. Nature has been mastered and no barbarians threaten to destroy what they cannot understand. Even the emergence of totalitarian governments is a phenomenon within, not outside our Western civilization. The danger is that a global, universally interrelated civilization may produce barbarians from its own midst by forcing millions of people into conditions which, despite all appearances, are the conditions of savages."

The Inauguration of Police State USA 2012: Obama Signs the “National Defense Authorization Act"

With minimal media debate, at a time when Americans were celebrating the New Year with their loved ones, the “National Defense Authorization Act " H.R. 1540 was signed into law by President Barack Obama. The actual signing took place in Hawaii on the 31st of December.

According to Obama's "signing statement", the threat of Al Qaeda to the Security of the Homeland constitutes a justification for repealing fundamental rights and freedoms, with a stroke of the pen.
The controversial signing statement (see transcript below) is a smokscreen. Obama says he disagrees with the NDAA but he signs it into law.
"[I have] serious reservations with certain provisions that regulate the detention, interrogation, and prosecution of suspected terrorists."
Obama implements "Police State USA", while acknowledging that certain provisions of the NDAA are unacceptable. If such is the case, he could have either vetoed the NDAA (H.R. 1540) or sent it back to Congress with his objections.
The “National Defense Authorization Act " (H.R. 1540) is Obama's New Year's "Gift" to the American People.
He justifies the signing of the NDAA as a means to combating terrorism, as part of a counter-terrorism agenda. But in substance, any American opposed to the policies of the US government can --under the provisions of the NDAA-- be labelled a "suspected terrorist" and arrested under military detention.
"Moreover, I want to clarify that my Administration will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens. Indeed, I believe that doing so would break with our most important traditions and values as a Nation. My Administration will interpret section 1021 in a manner that ensures that any detention it authorizes complies with the Constitution, the laws of war, and all other applicable law."
Barack Obama is a lawyer (a graduate from Harvard Law School). He knows fair well that his signing statement --which parrots his commitment to democracy-- is purely cosmetic. It has no force of law.
The signing statement does not in any way invalidate or modify the actual signing by President Obama of NDAA (H.R. 1540) into law.

"Democratic Dictatorship" in America

The “National Defense Authorization Act " (H.R. 1540) repeals the US Constitution. While the facade of democracy prevails, supported by media propaganda, the American republic is fractured. The tendency is towards the establishment of a totalitarian State, a military government dressed in civilian clothes.
The passage of NDAA is intimately related to Washington's global military agenda. The military pursuit of Worldwide hegemony also requires the "Militarization of the Homeland", namely the demise of the American Republic.
In substance, the signing statement is intended to mislead Americans and provide a "democratic face" to the President as well as to the unfolding post-911 Military Police State apparatus.
The "most important traditions and values" in derogation of the US Constitution have indeed been repealed, effective on New Year's Day, January 1st 2012.
The NDAA authorises the arbitrary and indefinite military detention of American citizens.

The Lessons of History

This New Year's Eve December 31, 2011 signing of the NDAA will indelibly go down as a landmark in American history.
If we are to put this in a comparative historical context, the relevant provisions of the NDAA HR 1540 are, in many regards, comparable to those contained in the "Decree of the Reich President for the Protection of People and State", commonly known as the "Reichstag Fire Decree" (Reichstagsbrandverordnung) enacted in Germany under the Weimar Republic on 27 February 1933 by President (Field Marshal) Paul von Hindenburg.

Implemented in the immediate wake of the Reichstag Fire (which served as a pretext), this February 1933 decree was used to repeal civil liberties including the right of Habeas Corpus.
Article 1 of the February 1933 "Decree of the Reich President for the Protection of People and State" suspended civil liberties under the pretext of "protecting" democracy:

"Thus, restrictions on personal liberty, on the right of free expression of opinion, including freedom of the press, on the right of association and assembly, and violations of the privacy of postal, telegraphic, and telephonic communications, and warrants for house-searches, orders for confiscations, as well as restrictions on property rights are permissible beyond the legal limits otherwise prescribed." (Art. 1, emphasis added)

Constitutional democracy was nullified in Germany through the signing of a presidential decree.
The Reichstag Fire decree was followed in March 1933 by "The Enabling Act" ( Ermächtigungsgesetz) which allowed (or enabled) the Nazi government of Chancellor Adolf Hitler to invoke de facto dictatorial powers. These two decrees enabled the Nazi regime to introduce legislation which was in overt contradiction with the 1919 Weimar Constitution.

The following year, upon the death of president Hindenburg in 1934, Hitler "declared the office of President vacant" and took over as Fuerer, the combined function's of Chancellor and Head of State.

Obama's New Year's Gift to the American People

To say that January 1st 2012 is "A Sad Day for America" is a gross understatement.
The signing of NDAA (HR 1540) into law is tantamount to the militarization of law enforcement, the repeal of the Posse Comitatus Act and the Inauguration in 2012 of Police State USA.
As in Weimar Germany, fundamental rights and freedoms are repealed under the pretext that democracy is threatened and must be protected.
The NDAA is "Obama's New Year's Gift" to the American People. ...

The Constitution, Bill of Rights does not mean a god damned thing now. Its an innocuous sounding Bill that has already passed called the National Defense Authorization Act for 2012. And it's NOT just for so called terrorists, it applies to everyone and allows for a new police state!
The Devil as usual is in the details and if the government decides that you are a threat on suspicion not conviction the can put you away forever without a trial. These are also the same people who call America a "battleground".

Then it's the censorship of the internet through the Protect IP/ SOPA again under the disguise of battling internet pirates but in reality there to muffle and kind of dissent.

Artificial Intelliegence Box Experiment K3LOID

Kount Kreepy had sent me a trailer for K3LOID a short film by the team at it BLR.
The short by itself is interesting enough but there is alot more to it than just cool eye candy.

Now the premise behind it is something called the AI-Box Experiment as put forward by Eliezer S. Yudkowsky.
In short if humanity were to create A.I. then it should be kept in a box with no hard wired or WIFI connections to internet, manufacturing etc in order to monitor it. The argument being that the A.I would eventually convince someone to "let it out". A really interesting prospect and even neater film short that raises a pile of questions and hits that cyberpunk button and reminiscent of Masumune Shirow's work on Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell.

Mayor Art Reaume, who in 1945 in Windsor Ontario Canada refused to use police to break up strikers at the Ford plant there. How many mayors dealing with local citizens with legitimate grievances would do that these days? Why the heavy handed approach and use of violence to disrupt non violent protestors? Simple answer, FEAR. The system (for lack of a better term) fears those who don't "tow the line" and can't understand why the peasants would revolt or try to exercise their Constitutional rights.

So what is the Occupy really about? Again pretty simple, people are pissed off. They don't like the system pissing on their backs and telling them its rain. They don't like that big corporations and banks fuck up and get a free pass when breaking the law and getting rewarded for it using the people's money.

If you still don't get it, let me break it down into crayon:

imagine a local business man get's caught laundering money and losing the town's savings through criminal neglect. Now imagine instead of going to jail that same person instead get's a whole pile of money to cover those losses and and even more from the government and then gives himself a big bonus. Now imagine that the government comes to you and the people around you for more money to cover what they gave to the crooked businessman and on top of that the same businessman gets a government job and those same people in the government go into business for that businessman! Well that's exactly what's been going on! THAT is why people are pissed off and doing these protests!

Now back to the Ford Strike of 1945, it was a situation not dissimilar to what's been going on the last while. We went from having allot of rights from roughly that time forward until the Reaganomics of the 1980's where all of those rights were steadily eroded until we have the situation we find ourselves in today again at the tipping point of corporate greed and corruption. The elites are trying to wind back the clocks and have been doing a damned good job of it through public apathy. I've mentioned it many, many times in the past that these elites want to see a return to the good ole days of feudalism and serfdom just where the sheeple maybe have a bit more money to buy their crap. The only reason any of us today have a so called middle class was due to the Black Plague and their weren't enough skilled workers around to do the work so were able to demand higher wages and freedom.

One of the reasons the Ford Strike of 1945 succeeded after 99 days on the line was that the local populace and other organized labor groups pitched in to keep food, clothing and money going for the strikers and their families. Also a few "elected officials" did the right thing and stuck by their constituents and not the corporations. Local police also did not interfere with the workers who were picketing as most folks recognized at that time it was not just about a local strike that it was something bigger that would change the labor movement as well as rights for everyone. As prior to that it was common practice for supervisors to "ask" workers to do extra work outside of the plant in order to keep their jobs as well as other abuses we would be horrified at today.

Is the occupy movement that much different? If it succeeds could things not change for the better for everyone, the so called 99%? Hell even some of the 1% is saying similar things. Again it's a pretty simple thing and as old as time, the elite's feel entrenched and will do everything they can to maintain their hold on power. Thus why the heavy handed response?

Which is ridiculous considering the "Occupiers" are hanging around in parks and doing protests peacefully? Why the reaction with tear gas and goons? It's because of public opinion, the system needs fear to maintain itself in it's current configuration. And a sort of proto Occupy started in Wisconsin right before the OWS took off-

Democracy has been highjacked by a small minority that has no interest in right's and doing the right thing, it has an agenda to fulfill and strong willed people exercising their rights and freedoms does not equate with that agenda.

So if anything we should be supporting the Occupiers even if its just making a plate of sandwiches and bringing it to the park or some blankets and other things. This is something bigger than any of us and could lead to a better life for everyone. -EvS

Is the Occupy movement dead? Most certainly not if anything its gaining momentum. Sure sucks being a protestor in the freezing rain and snow for those in the northern hemispheres but folks are still sticking it out. And Occupy movements are making the Main Stream News. MSN agencies tried to ignore it but the movement has become so prevalent that it cannot be ignored. Interesting so many commentators have said there "is no leadership". Well of course not and maybe that's not such a bad thing! However some have said it was about the Robin Hood Tax, but no that's not quite it either and I don't think it was a set up by the NWO either.

EU Dictatorship and Neo Fuedalism

It would seem that a dictatorship by stealth has taken over Europe in the form of the European Union. Nations hand over their sovereignty to autocrats making decisions not for the people but for the banks and corporations while the regular people toil for the elite who were not elected but
chosen by their faith to the EU not to any kind of loyalty or representation to their constituents!

Vladimir Bukovsky a former Soviet dissident was one of many ringing the alarm bells in 2006 that the EU was a monster that must be destroyed before it became a full fledged totalitarian state.

In Italy the PM (Berlusconi) resigned a few days ago, not because the people wanted him gone but because the day before he announced his resignation he had said that the Italian people had become more impoverished since the introduction of the European Currency. Next day he announces resignation. Cant have that. So we know he got the squeeze.

The Greek PM was going to resign as well , he had announced that he would hold a referendum and resign before taking another bailout from the EU. Then he backslides on both!Didn't help him as he's gone (George A Papendreou) at the time of this writing and a new guy named Lucas Papademos is officially in as the interim PM. Of interest he was the former Governor of the Greek Bank from 1994 to 2002 when he left that position to be the VP of the European Central Bank from 2002-2010. He left that sport to become adviser to Papendreou, lol. You cant make this shit up folks!

And in comes the so called "Stability Union" of the EU (brought in November 1st , 2011). The long story short is that now countries (excluding U.K. as they still have their own currency) in the EU no longer have the authority to approve budgets in their own countries! Budgets will be under control of the European Parliament. The elected leaders of countries in the EU will NOT be able to decide taxation or spending as that will be decided by unelected autocrats. THAT MEANS DEMOCRACY IN EUROPE IS OFFICIALLY DEAD! Long live European Neo Feudalism! It will be the Fourth Reich as outlined in the Red House Report. Yup that's right kids, the ole Nazi's had this whole EU thing figured out back in 1944 when they knew they were losing the war (officially US Military Intelligence report EW-Pa 128), feel free to look it up or use any of our links.

One of the old Nazi bag men and chief bankers was Hermann Joseph Abs, old Hermann was also a key figure in the post war years as a banker and financier in Germany helping create the European Union of today. National Transitional Council of Libya (or our man in Libya)

So we've all heard about the National Transitional Council of Libya and that they are a "temporary" government until a new one can be established in a post Gaddafi world.

So who's who in this Council? What's their angle and background? What's in it for the west?

First up is Mahmoud Jibril (Mahmoud Jibril el-Warfally)sitting as the Interim Prime Minister of Libya. His education is in Political Science and Economics University of Cairo and attained a Doctrate in Political Science from University of Pittsburgh in 1985. From 2007-2011 he served on the National Economic Development Board (created bu US/UK interests) in Libya promoting privatization and relaxing of the economic laws there. Guess why he is still there then eh?

Of note he was apparently against Gaddafi's wealth redistribution program where the Colonel would take oil revenues on a monthly basis and redistribute in the form of monthly payments to citizens to invest for themselves. So now we know why Gaddafi had to go! Well that and gold but more on that later.

The media mostly focuses on our main man Mahmoud but who are the other members? There is an English link here for a quick summary but I'll outline a few of interest below in a quick summary.

Abdul Hafiz Ghoga is the spokesperson for the council and is a human rights lawyer. From what I can find anyway most of the council seems to be made up of former political dissidents and others who were in hot water with the previous regime. The newsgroup called hamsayeh.net allege that most of the council are members of the Harabi Tribe with Al Qaeda links (vis a vis the CIA) keep in mind though that hamsayeh is from the Iranian point of view. But to be fair they aren't the only ones who claim this and many other researchers assert this claim as well. So was there something to all of the talk about Al Qaeda when the war first started? Anyone still remember Gaddafi talking about Al Qaeda on the news, sounded like crazy talk at the time. Thing is though maybe it's not. Also Gaddafi was trying to start a Pan African organization not subject to the Anglo American alliance rules. That's enough to get a guy killed right there.

So the rabbit hole gets deeper! Gaddafi was also going to go to a gold dinar instead of the U.S. dollar , guess he didn't learn from when Saddam Hussein tried the same thing right before Iraq was invaded. Here's a good video from RT News that gives a quick summary.

Next up for regime change are other countries that think they can make their own rules concerning gold and oil such as Iran and Syria. Here's an almost prophetic news article from 2007 about gold reserves being bought up. And puts another piece of the puzzle together. Iran has its own oil bourse which has customers buying its oil in currencies other than U.S. dollars. -EvS

According to the so and so's of the world the idea of a positive and beautiful woman who has tat's is a bit much and think it's shameful and send young girls the wrong image. Well who the hell are they to tell anyone anything anyway?

I happen to know allot of woman from all walks of life, professionals, tradeswoman, at home mom's, executives, you name it who have tattoo's. Maybe some of those people who find this so offensive (trying to make the news about their narrow minded opinions) need to get a grip on reality.

There's a allot more things out there in the world to get upset and stir shit about than a $50 doll. That's right 50 bucks. So outside of the range of your 10 to 20 dollar U.S.D. doll geared toward little girls.
This particular doll is geared toward collectors of Barbie because it was designed by Italian artist Simone Legno (who also started tokidoki which also make a whole range of manga inspired items.

Adel al-Jubeir assassination plot

Quick summary:

on October 11, 2011 two Iranians were alleged to have been in a plot to kill a Saudi Arabian ambassador on U.S. soil. It was revealed to U.S. authorities through a drug informant and now the U.S. is trying to use this event as an excuse to start a war with Iran. Problem is when you start to unwrap the layers of this story something doesn't add up.

When I first heard this one my first reaction was "bullshit". Why would the Iranians want to whack a Saudi ambassador on U.S. soil? Well like Judge Judy says if it doesn't make sense it's probably a lie. Fair enough. We can go a little further and ask ourselves who has the most to gain from this action. Does Iran gain from it? I can't see how, there's plenty of other ways to send a message to the Saudi's or the U.S. for that matter. Also most informants testimony in the past has proved to be false, remember this is someone who will say anything his captors want to hear in order to save their own skins.
Do the Saudi's gain from it? Not really unless there they need some kind of external threat to distract the populace from harsh economic and political conditions there, but it's a pretty wealthy country with free education and health care that has things pretty well under control. So a really weak maybe there.

So that leaves the U.S. another war against a fairly significant standing army, its own county is divided politically and economically and could use some distractions. Also taking out Iran fits in with it's Geo-political strategic goals and would get that Caspian Basin pipeline going through a fairly civilized country in comparison to Afghanistan. Another bonus with taking out Iran is that it would bring security to the main U.S. ally in the region Israel and set things up for a tamer Syria.

All in all the alleged plot is in keeping with standard U.S. black operations in setting up wars.

The Adel al-Jubeir assassination plot was an alleged conspiracy tied to the Iranian government to assassinate Saudi ambassador Adel al-Jubeir in the United States. On 11 October 2011, two Iranians, Manssor Arbabsiar and Gholam Shakuri, were charged in a New York federal court with plotting to assassinate Al-Jubeir.^[1] According to U.S. officials, the two planned to kill him with a bomb and subsequently bomb the Saudi embassy and the Israeli embassy in Washington, D.C. Subsequent bombings in the Argentine capital, Buenos Aires, were also discussed.^[2] This has been considered by the United States to be an attempted terrorist plot.^[3] Arbabsiar was arrested on 29 September 2011, at John F. On 11 October 2011, FBI director Robert Mueller held a press conference and described a conspiracy involving monitored international calls, Mexican drug money and an attempt to blow up Jubeir. "Though it reads like the pages of a Hollywood script, the impact would have been very real and many lives would have been lost," Mueller said.^[6] United States Attorney General Eric Holder alleged that the plot was directed by elements of the Iranian government.^[7] At least one investigator has speculated that the men may have been acting as rogue elements in the Iranian government, rather than the actual government itself. "It's so outside their normal track of activity", said a senior law enforcement official who had been involved in the investigation and would speak only on the condition of anonymity. "It's a rogue plan or they're using very different tactics. We just don't know."^[8] The government of Iran has denied the accusations.^[9]

Manssor Arbabsiar, age 56, is a naturalized U.S. citizen holding an Iranian passport.^[10] He was arrested by federal agents at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.^[7] Officials said Arbabsiar flew from Iran through Frankfurt, Germany, to Mexico City on 29 September for a final planning session, but was refused entry to Mexico. He was deported back to Iran, and put on a plane to New York, where he was arrested in transit.^[11] According to the DOJ, Arbabsiar waived his Miranda rights shortly after his arrest and allegedly confessed to his participation in the plot.^[12]
The Department of Justice claims that Gholam Shakuri is a member of Iran's special operations unit Quds Force and is still at large.^[7]
Iran's permanent U.N. representative called the confession "suspicious claims by an individual", and suggested his claims were fabricated.^[13]

A debate exists whether or not the highest echelons of the Iranian government ordered or even knew of the assassination plot. U.S. officials, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said that it was "more than likely" that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as well as head of the Quds Force, Major General Qassem Suleimani, knew of the plot.^[14] No specific information has yet been provided to support such a link, but American officials said it was inconceivable that in Iran's hierarchy Khamenei or Suleimani would not be aware of such an action.^[15] The officials did acknowledge, though, that the plot was far "outside the pattern" of the Quds Force past activity.^[14]
At the same time, a number of prominent Iran experts have questioned the Iranian government's link to the plot.^[15]^[16] Some believe it was probably just rogue elements in the Iranian government. Suzanne Maloney, senior fellow at The Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution, said much of what was known of the plot did “not fit the usual patterns of Iran's involvement with terrorist activities. It seems quite credible to me that it could be rogue elements, but I don't know to what degree the Iranian military tolerates such dissent."^[17] Alireza Nader, an Iran analyst at the Rand Corporation, found it "difficult" to believe that Khamenei or Suleimani would order such an attack that "would put all of Iran's objectives and strategies at risk".^[16]

Kenneth Katzman, a Middle East analyst at the Congressional Research Service, said, "There is simply no precedent – or even reasonable rationale – for Iran working any plot, no matter where located, through a non-Muslim proxy such as Mexican drug gangs.... The Iranian modus operandi is only to trust sensitive plots to their own employees, or to trusted proxies such as Hezbollah, Saudi Hezbollah, Hamas, the Sadr faction in Iraq, Iran-friendly extremist Muslims in Afghanistan and other pro-Iranian Muslim groups."^[18]
Reza Sayyah from CNN questioned the plausibility of the claim by asking, "Did an elite branch of Iran's military handpick a divorced, 56-year-old Iranian-American used-car salesman from Texas to hire a hitman from a Mexican drug cartel to assassinate the ambassador to Saudi Arabia by blowing up a bomb in a crowded restaurant in Washington?"^[19]

Several senior U.S. politicians, both Democrat and Republican, have said that this plot could constitute an act of war by Iran. Senator Carl Levin, a Democrat who serves as chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee says the plot may be an act of war against the United States. Republican Representative Michael McCaul shared his view.^[20] Republican Senator Mark Kirk called the plot an "act of war" and called on the Obama administration to consider sanctioning the Central Bank of Iran in response. Similarly, Republican Congressman Peter King, currently chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said Iran's actions constituted "an act of war".^[21]

US President Barack Obama stated: “Even if at the highest levels there was not detailed operational knowledge, there has to be accountability with respect to anybody in the Iranian government engaging in this kind of activity."^[22] Vice President Joe Biden said that Iran would be held accountable for the plot and described it as "an outrage that violates one of the fundamental premises upon which nations deal with one another and that is the sanctity and safety of their diplomats".^[23] John Boehner, the Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, said: "It's a very serious breach of international behavior, and I would hope that our administration would hold the Iranian government – hold their feet to the fire over the actions that have been alleged in this complaint."^[24] Secretary of State Hilary Clinton called the incident a "flagrant violation of international and United States law".^[25]
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad denied the accusations, calling them a "fabrication".^[9] Mohammad Khazaee, the Ambassador of Iran to the United Nations, stated that he was "shocked to hear such a big lie" and that the version of events presented by the United States was an "insult to the common sense".^[26] Khazaee wrote in a letter to Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon that Iran “strongly and categorically rejects these fabricated and baseless allegations, based on the suspicious claims by an individual.”^[27] Ali Larijani, chairman of the Iranian parliament, said that the claims asserted by the United States were a "childish game".^[28] A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told the Iranian Students News Agency that "Iran strongly denies the untrue and baseless allegations".^[29] Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, described the allegations as "meaningless and absurd".^[30]
The Kosovan Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a statement saying that "The Kosovo Government is relieved that the American authorities managed to prevent the attack in time, but remains concerned at this plot which is against democratic values and international law. We support the United States and Saudi Arabia in a full investigation of the organizers of the attack and we join in democratic states in requiring a clarification from the Iranian authorities for the planned attack. The Republic of Kosovo expresses its solidarity with the American and Saudi Arabian people, who supported Kosovo’s people in difficult times."^[31]
Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, a former Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the United States, stated that Iranian involvement in the plot was "overwhelming" and that "somebody in Iran will have to pay the price".^[10]
In France, a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs released a statement saying: "For France, this is an extremely serious affair, an outrageous violation of international law, and its perpetrators and backers must be held accountable."^[32]
The Dutch minister of foreign affairs, Uri Rosenthal, has stated that he is "very, very, very, really exceptionally worried" about the alleged Iranian involvement in a plotted terrorist attack on civilians in the United States.^[33] A statement released from the office of British Prime Minister David Cameron stated: "Indications that this plot was directed by elements of the Iranian regime are shocking. We will support measures to hold Iran accountable for its actions."^[28]

Saudi Arabia and Iran have long competed for power and dominance in the Middle East.^[34] Some Saudi officials have said that the alleged assassination plot would represent an escalation in the confrontation between the two.^[34]

President Obama imposed new sanctions on Iran the next day, and the White House says that more actions will be taken.^[35]

Oil pipeline Afghanistan

Sometimes it might take us awhile to figure out some pieces of the puzzle as we're not the all seeing and knowing around here but we do find the pieces and sometimes get a better picture. As a follow up with the "Where the hell is Kyrgyzstan and why should I care" article and another article of Karzai's brother's murder ( and lets not forget Hamid Karzai was a former CIA asset as well as an adviser for Unocal .
I've been trying to figure out why so much blood and treasure has been expended to "tame" Afghanistan. The excuses have been humanitarian and other altruistic reasons as most of us know are complete bullshit. Then there was the focus of Afghanistan being covered in Rare Earth Elements. Ok, maybe good enough to get some investors in there but not in general keeping with the big plan.

Turns out that Afghanistan is the only really viable pipeline route from the Caspian Basin to markets in China and Japan as well as to an international port outside of the volatile Mediterranean area. This will be increasingly important to U.S. corporate interests as the U.S. will be importing almost 70% of its oil by 2025.

Dick Cheney in 1998 (then he was CEO of Halliburton at the time) addressing the Collateral Damage Conference, Cato Institute 1998, June 23rd was talking about Afghanistan back then.

Jean Charles Brisard the french reporter and author of "Bin Laden: The Forbidden Truth" says in his book that when talks broke down between Centgas (Unocal) and the Taliban in 1997 the negotiators told the Taliban reps " either accept our carpet of gold or a carpet of bombs". Not exactly what I would call a negotiation.

Bankers rule the world

Not that we didn't know this already but it would seem to many that the real New World Order is run by banks. Makes sense really as you need someone to keep printing the money to put countries into debt and thereby control them, by influencing decisions made by politicians through bribery or if you don't make such and such a decision we will call on the debt bankrupting you.

Problem being though is the guy died about 100 years before the quote attributed to him was attributed to him. However it is illustrative of the bankers attitudes towards sovereignty.

Coming up to more modern times recently the Germans have decided that bailing out Greece will go ahead despite people's wishes to the contrary in that country but when your country is run by the banks the could give a rats ass despite protests to the contrary. And the Greeks don't want the money and debt that goes along with it, thus loosing more power to German banks.

The U.S. isn't doing much better with Goldman Sachs running the country there either. Recently trader Alessio Rasanti in an interview with BBC told it like it is and said Goldman Sachs rules the world. A bit of oversimplification but damned close to the mark. Of course though he will be crussified for even saying this. Actually Forbes is doing that already and Im damned sure there will be more, if not a sex or drug scandal, maybe even a suicide for speaking the truth. They will do their best to discredit this guy. And does anyone really think that BBC didn't check this guy out before giving him air time. C'mon folks!

A bit of background for all those liberal, blame the conservative types. The reason that the whole market crashed was because of loose banking laws. Most countries had pretty restrictive banking laws put in since the last big economic depression to prevent catastrophes made by bankers and speculators. The Glass-Steagal Act was put into place in the United States as a check against the banksters and speculators. It was repealed in November of 1999 and signed by Bill Clinton a Democrat, who didn't give a frick about anyone except his elitist buddies. However George Bush Jr helped things along by getting rid of other safety features put it into law to prevent another Great Depression.

Nomi Prins has a pretty good book that goes into alot more detail in her book called "Black Tuesday". Its a fiction book but illustrates the impact of the Great Depression. She also has written mostly non-fiction, academic style books exposing banking and trading fraudulent practices.

People recently have started occupying Wall Street in the U.S. to protest to the banksters and traders running their country into the ground. Of course the cops who are really there to protect the system could give a shit about anyone's rights there.

People are starting to wake up at an exponential rate. New World Order you better take notice as you will eventually be dragged into court in countries around the world. In a protest in Isreal against government policies there protestors had a guillotine on display as a message. Good point!

Supercomputer Reads the News to Successfully Forecast World Events

Nipping at the heels of yesterday's story about the software that automatically writes news articles comes another technological innovation changing the shape of journalism: software that reads news articles.

Kalev Leetaru of the University of Illinois determined that using the Nautilus SGI supercomputer to analyze news stories can help predict major world events. The analysis he used for the experiment was retrospective, feeding the computer millions of articles from which it was able to determine a deteriorating national sentiment towards Libya and Egypt before the revolutions in those countries. The system was also able to narrow down Osama Bin Laden's location to within 125 miles before he was found and killed last May.

More than 100 million articles were gathered for this study, from various sources including the New York Times archive, Open Source Center and BBC Monitoring (two organizations that monitor local media output worldwide). The system searched for two primary things in the articles: mood and location. Words such as “nice” or “horrible” were used to measure mood, and geocoding converted mentions of places such as “Cairo” or “Pakistan” to plottable coordinates.

For countries that experienced the “Arab Spring,” the supercomputer produced graphs that showed a noticeable decline in media sentiment both within each country and without. Before President Mubarak's resignation, the tone of media coverage of Egypt fell to one of its lowest points in 30 years, predicting something that U.S. government could not. As Leetaru told BBC news, the president's continued support of Mubarak showed that high-level analysis suggested Mubarak wasn't going anywhere. The graph, however, suggests otherwise.

Leetaru's next step is developing technology to allow this system to forecast major world events, rather than just analyzing them after the fact. He compares it to economic forecasting algorithms, as well as meteorology, in that none of those systems (including his) are perfect, but using them is far better than just guessing. Are we on the cusp of "The Minority Report"? Hard to say, but be sure I'll be watching Nautilus SGI articles a little closer.

Gold standards and cleptocracy

The last couple of year's you may have heard many people talking about buying gold while you can as well as silver, etc. Could be that many of the world's debt based (or fiat as some claim) are headed for collapse and that a gold standard may be put back into place for a currency stabilizer. It would appear that the cupboard may be bare, at least that's why U.S. President Nixon took the U.S.D. off of the gold standard, especially after the French took a large withdrawal back in 1971.

This was due in part to a serious drop in the gold stock price by almost half. Seroius stuff also considering something called Balance of Payments. In plain English ( or broken down in crayon if you prefer) foreign governments then ( as now in the case of China) were getting and keeping more U.S. dollars than there was gold to back it up! So if there was a run on the gold supply, i.e. here is your paper money give me the equivalent in gold then it would bankrupt the nation. The French rightly so accused the U.S. of manipulating gold prices in relation to it's debts:

"The international monetary system is functioning poorly because it gives advantages to the country issuing the reserve currency. Such a country can have inflation by making others pay for it."-George Pompidou (at the time acting as French Prime Minister under Charles DeGaulle and would later be President of France himself). The American response was pretty flat with a "thats your problem" approach so the French sent in a battleship to New York and made their withdrawal in August of 1971.
The British followed suit but transferred their gold from Fort Know to the New York vault, makes me wonder why not just take it back to the U.K. like the French but probably some backroom deal kept it Stateside.

If there was it would reveal a very short supply that would never be able to hedge a percentage of U.S. debt and would be the final crippler of the USD. Troops on the ground in Libya

Well NATO spokespeople said it would happen repeatedly back in the early part of 2001 but it would seem that yes Virginia there ARE troops (western) on the ground in Libya. In more of plausible deniability though the troops are members of MI6 the U.K.'s foreign intelligence service. Granted though the S.A.S. are troops but may not be classified as such when on loan to MI6 so in the strictest sense of the word (like lawyers splitting hairs) there are no troops on the ground..... sounds a little double speak but then again welcome to the real world of politics.

Chemtrails whats the hype?

I gotta say when I first heard about this I thought it's gotta be bullshit. That was until I had seen it for myself. It was a really thick band about 1 mile wide going on for about 20 miles over my county and very cloud like. Thing is it took about a week or so then started to spread out. Some research started tying in to other agenda's and research. Still haven't decided yet though if it's a completely malignant thing or not, such as Atmospheric Geo-engineering, But then you might ask, "if it's not malignant then why all of the secrecy?". Why not indeed.

Im more inclined to think that its a weather modification of some kind to cool down the earth and it is interesting that since about 1997 (when some researchers say "chemtrail" spraying started) global temperatures have actually started to cool. Not to discount sunspot activity accounting for the majority of global temperatures. Mikhail Budyko's name has come up quite a bit on weather modification. And had suggested using jets with a high sulpher in its fuel content to "paint" the atmosphere cooling it down, creating clouds and reflecting more sunlight and thus heat back into space. Could it be that various governments are doing just that? Could be. But why no public disclosure? Apparently there can be some side effects such as barium poisoning as alleged by many chemtrail conspiracy proponents .

Others will contend that the spraying is a long range goal of Agenda 21 along with food modification for a "soft kill" approach where over successive generations eventual sterilization will weed out an over populated planet. Not surprising if true, knowing the "elites" eugenic attitudes. We will post more on chemtrails as we gain more information on it. Otherwise there is a wealth of information out there by dedicated researchers and this is only to bring up the subject as another point of interest in the New World Orders machinations.

So over the last few decades these messages (called Toynbee Tiles) about the size of license plates have been showing up all over the United States and in a few South American places. A documentary maker has created a film into trying to find out who and why and what the hell does it mean. The message reads "Toynbee idea in movie 2001 resurrect dead on Planet Jupiter"
Mostly appearing in Philadelphia they have also appeared in other major U.S. cities and apparently embedded in highways.

Discussion on Inverted Totalitarianism

With the amount of email we get from contributors and subscribers alike sometimes things can get pretty interesting in discussions from different opinions of various researchers. Having different opinions I think is a very good thing especially in the "conspiracy research" field as it forces us to take a look at all of the different angles instead of allowing a cult of personality having the ultimate and final say. In this spirit I will post some different points between researchers on various subjects as it can only serve to let us all learn more whether we agree with an opinion or not. It always amazes me though the wealth of information out there with the contributors and subscribers of the Evil von Scarry Show. Thanks to all who have tuned in so far and contributed!

The following is just a sample of what normally happens on some academic topics. This one in particular is about inverted totalitarianism and an article entitled Zero Point of Systematic Collapse written by Chris Hedges. Democracy, a system ideally designed to challenge the status quo, has been corrupted and tamed to slavishly serve the status quo. We have undergone, as John Ralston Saul writes, a coup d’état in slow motion. And the coup is over. They won. We lost.

It purports to cherish democracy, patriotism, a free press, parliamentary systems and constitutions while manipulating and corrupting internal levers to subvert and thwart democratic institutions.

Political candidates are elected in popular votes by citizens but are ruled by armies of corporate lobbyists in Washington, Ottawa or other state capitals who author the legislation and get the legislators to pass it. A corporate media controls nearly everything we read, watch or hear and imposes a bland uniformity of opinion. Mass culture, owned and disseminated by corporations, diverts us with trivia, spectacles and celebrity gossip.

In classical totalitarian regimes, such as Nazi fascism or Soviet communism, economics was subordinate to politics. “Under inverted totalitarianism the reverse is true,” Wolin writes. “Economics dominates politics – and with that domination comes different forms of ruthlessness.”

The ideology of globalization, like all “inevitable” utopian visions, is being exposed as a fraud. The power elite, perplexed and confused, clings to the disastrous principles of globalization and its outdated language to mask the looming political and economic vacuum. The absurd idea that the marketplace alone should determine economic and political constructs led industrial nations to sacrifice other areas of human importance – from working conditions, to taxation, to child labor, to hunger, to health and pollution – on the altar of free trade.

“A society becomes totalitarian when its structure becomes flagrantly artificial,” Orwell wrote. “That is when its ruling class has lost its function but succeeds in clinging to power by force or fraud.” Our elites have used fraud. Force is all they have left.

Our mediocre and bankrupt elite is desperately trying to save a system that cannot be saved.

This concise editorial is well written, but I do not agree with the author's primary assertion:

The preceding definition of the term 'inverted totalitarianism' is a realistic premise, however the following two hypothesis miss the mark:

1- The absurd idea that the marketplace alone should determine economic and political constructs led industrial nations to sacrifice other areas of human importance – from working conditions, to taxation, to child labor, to hunger, to health and pollution – on the altar of free trade.

The 'marketplace alone' did not lead industrial nations to sacrifice the author's list of social needs - on the altar of free trade because the 'marketplace' is controlled by the international bankers. Industrial nations were not misled by the 'marketplace', the industrial nations were misled by the international bankers into using the 'marketplace' as an economic scapegoat.

The significance of my point is illustrated by the author's concluding false assumption:

2- Our mediocre and bankrupt elite is desperately trying to save a system that cannot be saved. More importantly, they are trying to save themselves.

The international banking 'elite' are anything but mediocre and bankrupt, the industrial nations are mediocre and bankrupt because of the crimes of the international banking 'elite'. The 'elite' are starting up a global scientific totalitarian oligarchic police state because they have deceived the world into believing the world's political leaders are just incompetent and corrupt politicians whose policies are bankrupting the world's economies, when nothing is further from the truth.

The world's economic problems are not happening by accident and the world's economic problems are not happening because of unforeseen and unsolvable conditions. The world's economic problems are occurring because they are orchestrated by the elite and the world's political leaders are knowingly complicit in carrying them out.

The elite, and their minions, are not 'trying to save themselves', they are succeeding in instilling the false perception in the public's mind that the world' financial problems are because of random economic forces and bad policy decisions.

That is why I do not agree with the author's thesis, but he/she may be on the right track.

Fair Use, Copyright Criminals and Remixing

I saw this segment on a documentary called Rip: A Remix Manifesto. This article will still be about Fair Use but I had to put this video in there first as I laughed my ass off seeing it! Note- the remainder of this article will endeavor to get back on topic and be serious (mostly) in nature after this video- EvS

And now with the rest of our article! Where was I oh yes Fair Use. In order to express ourselves and transmit and share ideas amongst ourselves we use popular culture material in the forms of music, video, images etc. This is used to convey an idea to as wide a group as possible in forms that are easily understood. However big record companies and the like have something called Intellectual Copyright. A good point used in the documentary film "Rip: A Remix Manifesto" is that the same business model used 50 years ago is not the same business model that applies now. The recent rash of lawsuits (never usually done by the artists but by the record labels)is an attempt (some would say by the powers that be)to stifle free speech.

So being a blogger and social commentator these are concerns. Ive looked into Fair Use and found a few blurbs that serve as somewhat of a "beware of dog" type of thing. It doesn't legally protect you like a steel door but does show that you have some idea of the situation at hand and know enough to be willing to defend your rights. So are you a Copyright Criminal? A user of Creative Commons? Here are some Fair Use blurbs for anyone needing feel free to do the ole cut n paste-

As you can see these notices are pretty straightforward and really you can just type in Fair Use into whatever search engine and pick and choose the one you like or best fits your requirements making slight adjustments.

4- again true and this is where we need to start fighting back. its ok that these companies have made money but to do so by quashing new ideas and expression is NOT ok. the business model is changing and "they" need to as well otherwise be consigned to the dust bin of history. but like the dinosaurs they will trumpet, stomp and roar but die out by failure to adapt.

Creative Commons is also a great way forward in sharing ideas and like in a not for profit model.The world and ideas are changing all of the time, vive la differneance

Some bands that are adapting, and thriving, by using creative commons are Nine Inch Nails, RadioHead (who are encouraging fans to do remixes! )and others just to name a few. A big BOO goes to Metallica, I guess those mansions and sports cars arent enough! Artists and musicians by making material freely available can only ensure their place in common culture by being open instead of exclusive. -EvS

A case for Nationalism

My apologies to the readers as of late as Ive had a bit of writer's block as well as distractions in family, work and regular life , albeit necessary distractions.

Going forward Ive been doing some reading on central Europe and its struggle to reintegrate itself back into Europe after the cold war. Seems that some in the western world see central Europe as the hot bed of nationalism and racism and not integrating into the "global" or pan European sphere.

On the surface the nationalism does seem to be a concern but could in some ways this not be a plus for the people's living in these countries? A stronger sense of identity preventing a homogenous globalism where people's sense of culture and identity is wiped out in the march toward a New World Order?

In current thinking many academics equate nationalism with the nazi's and other totalitarian regimes throughout history and offer the alternate of a United Nations concept where we all are equal ( the Communist ideal in principal). Problem with achieving equality is that everyone else outside of the lower socio-economic class becomes the lower socio-economic class while a wealthy elite just rises and consolidates ever increasing wealth and influence( the real outcome of Communism and other oligarchies as well as practiced capitalism so far).

So what then? A case for positive nationalism? Why not? Many countries are for the most part homogenous in their cultures but have respect for their minorities and neighbors, encourage fair trade were it is advantageous to their societies at large (not just a wealthy few). Nationalism can encourage and develop community and sense of purpose, collective self determination. In the case of collective self determination to break it down in simpler terms- this allows a people of any given nation to have laws (civil, criminal,economic) that reflect their own needs and values not someone else's ( ie globalist bankers, international corporations,etc).

On the flip side what does Globalism offer us so far in practice? Well jobs go to the lowest bidder so wherever it can be done the cheapest. In some ways this increases the profits of corporations but what about the people? The companies( who now don't pay any taxes or contribute anything other than to themselves) that move abroad leave behind unemployed workers creating disparity and lowering of that countries living standards. The new host country (sounds almost like were talking about parasites here, lol) does initially benefit from gaining employment for their people but has next to no control over the labor standards and in many (if not most) cases turns their people into slaves for the new company that has moved in. The threat of "we can always take the jobs somewhere else" hangs over their heads perpetually. Many of the new "emerging economies" set up free economic zones, areas of their countries set aside for factories owned by multi-nationals and where the normal rules of things like human rights, labor codes and the like do not apply. Essentially legalized slavery. Here is a link of countries that utilize Free Economic Zones.

The kings, queens and despots of old thought more on a multinational or globalist level. They viewed themselves all as cousins (and many were) and not actually members of their nations. Nationalism had destroyed their hold on their "subjects" and brought ownership and decision making to the people instead of the royal elites. The elites and their banking "allies" are on the road to destroying nationalism as it is a road block on their return to power.

The globalist ideal of a world wide free trade zone just creates a race to the bottom socially, environmentally and economically. To make this happen for the advantage of global corporations and the wealthy elites they need to destroy nationalism and any sense of community. Pesky communities and strong willed populations oppose companies steam rolling over their rights and well being. Thus the big push to create a dulled down population with no sense of identity or backbone who only keep consuming. By keeping people in debt ( as wages go down but cost of living increases) the globalists keep control of people.

In Nationalism ( not that fascist, corporate crap) debt is discouraged. Fair trade (not Free Trade) is the norm and corporations are reigned in under control.Now when you might look up Fair Trade you will see stuff about tobacco or coco farmers in Central or South America. Not to down play that as it helps them out but I feel in some ways short sells the Fair Trade concept and turns it into a guilt ridden lefty liberal kind of thing.

Fair Trade works both ways and in the long haul encourages trade on a more stable platform. For instance country A makes cars but not coffee, country B makes clothes but not cars and country C makes coffee. Well they can buy swap and trade to get what they need for a fair price and on their own terms. Thats very simplified but that's Fair Trade in a nutshell. Whereas Free Trade ( ie Globalism) forces countries to buy and sell at fixed prices and sometime buy what they dont need and not be able to sell what they have.
So what about the racism? Well in globalist practice of a migrant workforce ( its there just check out any pro globalist publications) people will continue to move around the world like a traveling group of skilled labor with no country of society of their own. Globalism promotes racism and strife between societies and people by creating mass migrations into other countries and societies to find work and perhaps better living standards as those Free Economic Zones where they come from are little better than forced labor camps. Big problem though for these migrants as well as the host countries that take them in is that their values sets and ideas of social norms can be vastly different. Take the case of Europe and its increasing populations of Islamic peoples who now want their host countries to adopt their own ideals and cultures. It becomes a case of clashing cultures whereas before with limited immigration people's immigrating had time to assimilate into their new home country as well as contribute some of their own culture and values. This becomes impossible with globalist mass migration and only serves to create conflict. In most cases anytime you look into "nationalism" it gets painted with a racist brush as if meant to scare off anyone even thinking of nationalism as a rational approach. A serious study into nationalism is that it unites various peoples in a country and backgrounds into a common goal. Sounds pretty inclusive to me, and eliminates alot of the hyphenated dual allegiances.

Some might argue that nationalism leads to militarism. Not so, take the Swiss model of nationalism or Swedish(or Norwegian), they have a moderate military force for self defense but not large enough to be a force of aggression. So far under the globalist model military spending is out of control with more wars going ( as well as the "blood and treasure" that gets spent) than at almost any previous time in earth's history. Some positive outlets of Nationalism in the competing sense of the word comes from various sports, football for example. Sure the hooligans get the press but the vast majority of fans enjoy a friendly rivalry and sportsmanship.

Another problem with the globalist model of economics is that when something bad happens in one country that could otherwise be an isolated event becomes a global problem economically. Countries like China, Japan and India all employ protectionist policies and are currently the thriving and growing economies yet in the U.S. using the Free Trade model the economy is in shambles with record unemployment. So where is the benefit for Globalism? Nationalism is the anti thesis of globalism. Nationalism also does not allow a one central authority to control all in a globalist sense. Its not to say that nations can't cooperate on a larger level to assist each other in a mutually beneficial manner. However I will await the inevitable pro communist/ globalist attacks from this article. I welcome all opinions whether I agree with them or not though. So anyone who is dead set against nationalism feel free to respond but please do so in a coherent and polite manner without all of the screaming and yelling. Which seems to be the case when people can't debate logically (especially when they are brain washed globalists) they will resort to name calling, accusations and the like.

Bohemian Grove, what is it? Chances are if your here you may have some kind of idea. Its the party palace for the elites in the western hemisphere. Its also a meeting place where the Bilderberg lackeys stateside get their marching orders from those who attended the Bilderberg meeting. Its is also attended by CFR and Trilaterals and other ring knocker wanna rule the world types. One iteresting note is that the attendees have a big giant owl called Moloch ( also appears as a bull in ancient times) that was a god from back in the old bible days that people sacrificed children to it. Im all for religious freedom but I have some concerns about the so called leaders and decision makers of the world worshiping a deity that demands child sacrifices. On July 12th 2011 the murder of Ahmed Wali Karzai's brother was a warning shot across the bow for Afghanistan's volatile president to play ball or else. Main stream media was quick to point out that Ahmed was President Karzai's "half-brother" as if it was some important distinction. Kind of puts me in mind of the Diem brothers during the 1960 in Vietnam and not altogether dissimilar politically.

Eurasianet.org received a quote from a "high ranking ISAF" member stating that:
“It is a tragic event, but it was a murder by his personal protector, a trusted bodyguard.”

So not the Taliban then? Of course not they know he's just another warlord that will tow the line for them ( the so called King of Kabul) when the western forces pull out. There is allot of speculation that maybe even President Karzai could benefit from his brother's demise but again that just more smoke and mirrors. President Karzai has been shooting his mouth off too much and started getting ideas that he is actually in charge so this was just the first warning to tow the line. As many readers know Afghanistan is rich in mineral wealth and "rare earth elements". When the economic hitmen cant do the job its the jackels kick at the cat or the Karzai.

Gelatin is used as a gelling agent in all kinds of things and is generally derived from the collagen in animal bones and skin (particularly cows and pigs). Broken down, it’s just a mixture of peptides and proteins. But it’s still derived from animals, which means there is a risk, however slight, that it could provoke immune system responses in humans or carry infectious diseases. Moreover, animal gelatin can be inconsistent from batch to batch, giving headaches to quality control managers at production plants. And it's not vegetarian.

As such, scientists have tried all kinds of ways to create a better gelatin, and they think they may have found it, right here in us. To create the human-derived gelatin, human genes are inserted into yeast strains that are tuned to produce gelatin in specific, controlled ways. Why do people hate unions

In Canada there is currently a postal strike going on but in fairness to the various locals they are doing a rotating strike so service will not be completely disrupted and pensioners as well as those on social assistance will still receive their benefits through the mail. The press in Canada of course is painting a picture of greedy unionists striking for money in a depressed economy and for the most part the sheeple are buying into the fabrication. The strike is about maintaining standards and safety, and for the record I am not a union member only an objective observer.

At first I was really shocked by the commentary made on Canadian news feeds as well as viewer commentary being in the negative and not supportive at all of the Postal Workers Union. Many of the comments were the "get back to work" and "ungrateful" type. I found the last one very interesting as it cropped up quite a bit... "grateful" what the hell for. For fighting to have the rights and safety that was hard won through a corporation that sure as hell didn't want to give them in the first place? "They (the union workers) should be grateful" again grateful to whom? Their masters? Sounds like slave talk to me, those are not the words of free women and men to be grateful while you like someone's boots. Other comments were "I work at such and such a meaningless job for peanuts and Im o.k. Jack" another assumption that because someone is willing to work in a shitty work place for nothing while their corporate masters reap record profits is the new norm? And that what makes you a hero or something? Sounds like a kicked dog hoping for some table scraps.

Rights are given they are taken. No one is going to give anyone rights (or very very rarely) because they ask for them.... "please sir, may I have some more gruel" what the fuck people wake the hell up, DEMAND what is your due, not grovel. It is interesting to note from back during the so called "Peasants Revolt" in June of 1381 in Medieval England. The Black Death had cut a swath through the population and exposed the Feudal System for all its rot, corruption and suppression. People found that the lords and ladies were no better than they were and certainly not "noble" at all. Folks were able to demand better wages and living conditions and got them.

John Ball the nominal leader of the peasants revolt ( in 1377) was quoted as saying thus:

Why are those whom we call lords, masters over us? How have they deserved it? By what right do they keep us enslaved? We are all descended from our first parents, Adam and Eve; how then can they say that they are better than us... At the beginning we were all created equal. There is a reason Ive gone back into over half a millennium ago here. I feel that the corporate world we find ourselves in today is just an attempt by the so called "elites" to roll back the clock and set up a neo-feudal society of have nots and have lots. And sadly the public (sheeple) is handing right to them and cheering it on. Poor misguided sots that they are. So your walking through the flea market or yard sale, local thrift store and there it is the most horrible art work ( and yet strangely facinating) piece you have ever seen..... there's lots of crappy/kitschy art work out there and here is just some of the most popular or common stuff out there- EvS

Dogs playing poker, originally done to sell cigars .The paintings were commissioned by a publishing company in 1903 called Brown and Bigelow by a painter named C.M. Coolige ( who specialized in Dogs playing poker paintings and making card board cut outs for tourists to stick their heads in for pictures).

Also those stupid Felix the Cat clocks with eyes that go back and forth like a metronome. Turns out they are actually a brand called Kit-Cat Clocks (patented)

Maybe not art in the strictest sense but garden gnomes, pink flamingos and other "lawn art" falls in the trashy category

Also the glowy paintings of living artist Thomas Kinkade is the future of kitchy art.

In retrospect I realized that most militaries have a particular understanding of the human condition and completely different vocabulary. The difference came to light to me when I was on leave at the same time as another friend who was also on leave at the same time. We were hanging out drinking with our civy friends and talking we noticed everyone looking at us like we just dropped in from another planet when one of friends asked us "what the fuck are you guys talking about, it sounds like another language! "

Military Industrial Complex

You may have heard the term, "Military Industrial Complex" or "Security Industrial Complex". So what is it exactly?

In short it is the relationship between politicians, lobbyists, armed forces and the companies that makes weapons systems (and security devices/ideas/products). And in the United States it is the be all and end all of almost every political decision made there specifically foreign policy and how tax payers money is spent.
In the post American Industrial age weapons systems are about the only large manufacturing done in the U.S. as most of the other industrial work has been "outsourced" a fancy term meaning that the job has been sent to another country.

Daniel Guerin who wrote the book Facism and Big Business in 1936 ( en Fracais but English translations are available) describes the Military Industrial Complex idea as thus: "an informal and changing coalition of groups with vested psychological, moral, and material interests in the continuous development and maintenance of high levels of weaponry, in preservation of colonial markets and in military-strategic conceptions of internal affairs." end quote.

U.S. President Dwight Eisenhower in his farewell speach in 1961 (Jan 17th) gave a cryptic warning about the Military Industrial Complex and is usually given credit with coining the term:
"A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction... This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every statehouse, every office of the federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society."
In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together." End quote.

Well there you have it I dont think the point could have been made any clearer than that, just to bad nobody stood up and listened. That however is changing as you are someone who is reading this right now.

An illustrative example of the Military Industrial Complex in action is Iraq. The country gets bombed, torn up and its armed forces destroyed then the U.S. comes in offering security and new weapons systems as well as offering lucrative contracts to private military companies for "security". Essentially the 2003 invasion of Iraq was a money maker and it made more money for the MIC (MIC will be used in place of Military Industrial Complex hereon) than the so called oil arguments some have made for the invasion. Iraq had to replace all of its firearms, vehicles, aircraft, radios, parts, etc,etc. And the new government has bought almost all of it from the U.S. MIC.

Right before 9-11 Donald Rumsfeld was testifying to Congress that 2.3 Trillion USD could not be accounted for from the Defense budget. 2.3 Trillion! How in the hell do you loose that much money. We'll never know as 9-11 happened the next day and was forgotten.
The MIC worldwide is an interesting thing in itself as the so called "Cold War" was really just a money maker to keep buying over inflated stocks of military hardware for a war that was never going to happen. The MIC is another reason we find ourselves in the "war on terror" as it will be a war without end, with continual spending on military/security goods and services at tax payers expense for a terrorist threat that will only materialize in controlled circumstances. If the "terrorists" were really serious there are some very low tech ways of creating scares or fears that dont involve flying planes into buildings, someone could just do a mall massacre or blow themselves up in a crowd. So why the big elaborate 9-11 deals, it sounds like a script from a James Bond movie with a big spectacular explosion or the like. Some could argue because that's what gets attention(apparently the motivation for terrorism). But maybe that's the idea, its an attention getter, like a soundbite on a bigger scale. Some legitimate terrorists like the IRA or PLO actually did kidnap and kill military or policeman and did bombings and hijackings and the like, its only the GLADIO or False Flag ops (in my opinion) that go for the big media sensations. These larger events help bring in legislation like the Patriot Act and similar legislation that further erodes freedoms and no surprise brings in more spending for the MIC in everything from more weapons to fight "terrorist" countries and spying on regular people just in case they may harbor some terrorists or any ill feelings to government.

The MIC is not so sole prevail of the United States (although the lions share is theirs), for instance in the "Peoples Democratic Republic of China" most companies and businesses are ultimately controlled by the Peoples Liberation Army. And the PLA nominally under control of the government. It doesnt get any more MIC than that. In Russia many researchers have said that the MIC there is outdated and need of renewal. This could be the case as the May Day parade in Moscow for 2011 was missing the usual fly by of new jets and looked pretty lacking for upgraded kit. The armed forces marching though showed off the new combat uniforms. Maybe this isn't such a bad thing as maybe Russia has more important things to do then spend all of their money on the MIC. Be sure to check out India and Brazil as future leaders of MIC.

PMC's or Private Military Companies have become the politically correct term for mercenaries and other facet of the MIC below is a documentary clip explaining the use of PMC's and shedding some light on them. Along with the War on Drugs (hiring companies like DynCorp) in South America as "advisors" to local governments and militarizing of police,buying military equipment and the so called War on Terror again using PMC's and buying ever staggering amounts of military equipment and security/surveillance related goods and services. The MIC becomes a self perpetuating entity that doesnt have to rely on wars as much as so called "low intensity conflicts", "regional disputes" and "police actions". -EvS

Tips for Strippers

Alright so you did an amateur night at the local peeler pub and made a couple of bucks and found out you've got some moves, you might even be considering this as a career move, paying for college or help you get ahead in life. Well it can be a lucrative job with good pay and keeps you in shape. EvS has some survival tips (for men and woman and others in this area, including transgender)....

Ive known some professionals in this area active and retired and have seen some success stories but usually some not so successful ones.

Rule #1- you are not going to be this good looking and healthy forever!

Have a plan for retirement. Take a tip from (at right) Henny Youngman, he was a traveling comedian and violin player who never really retired but didn't live lavishly although he had a pile of cash but never had want for anything-
"I get on the plane. I go and do the job, grab the money and I come home and I keep it clean. Those are my rules. Sinatra does the same thing, only he has a helicopter waiting. That's the difference."

Wages? A really rough average is about 100 or so per night (on a slow night) to as high as 2000 ( for top performers). So having said this it is usually in cash and some clubs want money up front to dance there ( say 50 to 100 depending) and/or half the lap dancing tips. Its not an easy job and you sure as hell work for the money. Now comes taxes. Getting paid in cash has it's benefits but claiming some of that money and paying into an employment insurance can help later on. Accidents happen all the time and a broken leg or other dancing injury can ruin a career in 10 seconds or less. So paying into an insurance is a smart thing to do. Investing your money (property,gold,silver) is also a wise option as you will not be a dancer forever. We've all seen the dancers that have been relegated to second string after hitting the over 10 or 20 plus years in the industry and are usually strung out and being exploited by drug dealers and lousy club owners. DONT BE THAT PERSON. HAVE A PLAN. Also live within your means, dont spend a damned dime if you can help it. Many dancers get sucked into the party atmosphere including the drugs and boozing (which by the way can make you really ugly and out of shape really quick) as many unscrupulous club owners like having dancers "in their pocket" and working for their drugs. Its cheaper for them to pay in drugs and have control over the dancers, not to mention you'll be broke and eventually out of work with nothing to show for it. Remember the advice of Henny Youngman above!Also if possible upgrade your education, you'll need some new skills for the post dancer period of life.

Believe it or not there are unionized exotic dancers theses groups provide (with a monthly or yearly membership due) sick benefits, maternity and accident insurance, guaranteed meal breaks and downtime, etc. Also see the International Union of Sex Workers.

Now as usual we appreciate contrary opinions as there are always 5 sides to every story usually. Below is a link to "No one should have to be a stripper" from the Woman's Space Blog. I understand and appreciate what they have to say there but the reality of the last 10,000 years of history is that a world with no strippers (or sex trade workers for that matter) is not going to happen any time soon.
